London District Christian Secondary School has built a reputation for staging dramatic productions of a very high quality. Students looking to get involved in an extra-curricular activity will discover that the annual spring production truly has something for everyone. Each production typically includes twenty to thirty students as cast members and at least as many students on the various crews, which include sound, lighting, hair and make-up, costumes, set construction, and stage management.
Not only do cast and crew members build a network of friends from our school, they are also given the opportunity to make connections with students from other Christian high schools who share a similar passion for theatre. Over the years, we have brought many of our shows to the Christian high school drama festival in Hamilton where we have garnered top awards. In 2008, a play exchange with Toronto District Christian High was initiated which involved two overnight events in order to share our productions with one another.
