Custodial Position:
London District Christian Secondary School is seeking applications for a definite, full-time position of school custodian to commence duties August 1, 2013. LDCSS draws its 300 students in grades 9 -12 from a broad area surrounding the city of London in a recently renovated 45,000 square-foot building on a 5-acre property. Qualified candidates for this position must be committed Christians who share the vision of LDCSS and be able to perform custodial as well as general maintenance duties. As detailed under the “Organization” section, LDCSS is governed by a Board of Directors and also has a total of six standing committees, as follows: Education, Finance, Community Relations, Capital Fundraising, Building Maintenance and Contract Partnership. The Board and Committees are comprised of volunteer teams. Board appointments are approved by the membership, while committee membership is approved by the Board.

As a parent-directed school, active participation by parents in the governance and committee related activities of LDCSS is a critical component of the long-term health and vitality of the school. Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in the activities of LDCSS by serving on one of the Committees or on the Board of Directors.
