Application Process


Enrolment in London Christian High is open to children of Christian parents and/or guardians, subject to the procedures and conditions specified below:
  • Grade 8 student applicants, who are currently attending a school affiliated with the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS), are to submit a Registration Form and a Course Selection Form for grade 9 to the school office.

  • All other student applicants should arrange an interview for admission with the Principal. They should provide the principal with a copy of their most recent Report Card or transcript.  The Principal will decide eligibility for admission for all applicants who are not currently attending a local Christian school. Student applicants eligible for admission will then meet with student services personnel to complete a Registration Form and a Course Selection Form which are to be submitted to our school office.

  • Families applying to enroll a child/children will receive written notification of admission status by August 31st, (except for transfer from other schools).

  • When an interview is requested by LDCSS, a parent/guardian and the student(s) for whom admission is sought, are expected to attend

  • The Board of Trustees of LDCSS reserves the right to refuse admission or re-admission of a student without giving cause

  • Admission to LDCSS does not mean that a spot on the transportation system is guaranteed, (consult the local Christian school chapter for logistics, booking, payment and confirmation of bus transportation arrangements).

International Students


London District Christian Secondary School welcomes a limited number of International students each year.  London District Christian Secondary School has a day school program only.  We do not have boarding facilities. However, we will try to assist with arranging for a home stay. 

International students admitted to London District Christian Secondary School should have a good command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking, listening).  If necessary, we will provide  English Second Language (ESL) course(s).

Grade placement and the granting of equivalent credits for education in the student’s country of origin will be decided by our school after reviewing the student’s transcript and courses of study. Students wishing to take the university preparation courses for admission into Ontario universities must have the necessary pre-requisite courses.   Please note that students will be required to successfully complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test and complete the required community involvement hours to qualify for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Conditions of Acceptance
  1. The student must be academically able to pursue a high school program of studies. 
  2. There must be space available in our classes. 
  3. If the student is under the age of 18, he/she needs a guardian and must live with a school-approved home stay family. The home stay family should be Christian.
  4. The student is expected to participate in the faith practices of our school (classroom devotions, chapels / assemblies, retreats, etc.)  and to register in our religious studies courses (grade 10 Bible, grade 11 World religions).   

How to Apply 
Send a letter of application to the principal in which you introduce yourself.  Include the following documentation with your letter of application. 
  1. a transcript showing the marks of your high school courses (should be legible and translated into English) 
  2. a photocopy of your birth certificate and / or passport 
  3. a photocopy of your student visa (if you already have one) 
All of the above must be included for your application to be considered and before a Letter of Admission is given.   

If your application for admission is accepted, you must send a $1,000.00 deposit (cheque / money order) payable to London District Christian Secondary School before a notice of admission is issued.  This deposit will be applied to your first semester tuition. If you fail to come, you will forfeit your deposit.   

Fees for International Students 
Tuition fees for the 2008-2009 school year are $6,500.00 per semester or $13,000.00 per year for full-time students.  A full-time student is one taking a minimum of 3 courses per semester at London District Christian Secondary School.  Students taking less than 3 courses are charged $2,200.00 per course. Tuition fees must be paid in full at the beginning of a semester.
